Sometimes when you are going to court, you not only need a lawyer that has plenty of training and a long legal career, but also a forensic psychiatry expert. Forensic psychiatrists are psychiatrists that have received special training that allows them to testify as expert witnesses in court and to examine the psychological state of people involved in the criminal justice system.
